ITICO Pharma’s manufacturing facility is a high yield plant with the capability to produce pioneer size batches. The facility incorporates advanced technologies and adheres to stringent quality control measures at every stage of production. Each production suite features its own dedicated In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) ensuring optimal product quality.

Powder handling suites:

Three powder handling suites equipped with:

• Wet Granulation Department: Two Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD) with Pelletizing Function
• Dry Granulator: One Roller Compactor
• Central Blender

Tablet compression suites:

Three suites equipped with medium to high-speed tablet presses capable of producing regular tablets, scored tablets, bi-layered tablets, effervescent tablets and chewable tablets in various sizes and shapes

Capsule filling suites:

Three suites, each equipped with medium to high-speed capsule fillers and a banding machine. These suites can produce regular capsules, pellets in capsules, tablets in capsules, as well as liquid-filled capsules.

Tablet coaters:

Two tablet coaters for film and sugar-coating processes.

Packaging:

• Two fully automated primary packaging (blistering lines). These lines are designed to handle diverse blister sizes and shapes; PVC-Alu, Alu-Alu foils; with the capability for blistering under nitrogen gas.
• These two blistering lines are coupled with two secondary packaging lines.
• One sachet filling line coupled with a secondary packaging line.

All packaging lines can accommodate various carton sizes and shapes. Similarly, a case packer adopting the Track & Trace systems is integrated into each packaging line to ensure the integrity of the products.

The Steriles production unit encompasses the following:

• Three dedicated solution preparation units, each equipped with terminal filtration systems catering to specific production lines
• Combi Line for Liquid Vials and Ampoules Filling ampoules up to 100ml.
